Requirements & Tuition
REQUIREMENTS:
- Student must be at least 5 years of age.
- Student must provide his or her own musical instrument.
- Guardian/Student must pay tuition for lessons at the end of each month and cover any additional costs for lesson materials (see more info below).
TUITION:
- Private Lesson Tuition: $25 per 30 minute session paid in monthly installments
- Group Lesson Tuition: $60 for six 30 minute classes
For private lessons, tuition is due in monthly installments. At the beginning of each month, the guardian/student will receive an invoice with the total amount due for lessons attended in the previous month. Students may then pay for lessons through the link provided on the invoice. Students must give a 24 hour notice to the instructor in order to receive a make-up lesson or not be charged for a lesson. Session tuition is non-refundable.

Absences & Make-Ups
In any case of an absence, the student is REQUIRED TO GIVE ADVANCE NOTICE (at least 24 hours prior to scheduled session) in order to receive an opportunity to schedule a make-up session or not be charged for the lesson. Emergency situations are exempt from this clause. No refunds of payments will be issued under any circumstances. In the case of an absence of the instructor, a make-up session will be rescheduled or a credit will be issued to the student for the following months.
Music & Material
Each guardian or student is responsible for paying for the cost of any music and supplementary materials (e.g. metronome, flash cards, theory workbook, etc.). This cost is in addition to the fixed session fee. The student will either be given a list of materials needed or the option—if agreed upon by instructor—to have the materials purchased on behalf of the student, and an itemized list including the total amount due will be provided to the student or guardian.
Practice
In order to receive the maximum benefit possible from scheduled sessions, it is essential each student spends fully devoted time outside the scheduled sessions practicing. It is the student’s responsibility to regularly create time for personal study and practice at home.
Recitals, Performances & Services
Periodically throughout the year, students will have an opportunity to perform in front of their peers during scheduled recitals and other public settings. Students are not required to attend these events; however, students are strongly encouraged to participate in these opportunities.
